| Many do not realize that the local municipality is responsible for fire protection in their area. The Cherryhill Township Fire Company and Cherryhill Township Board of Supervisors embrace this responsibility. We often assist each other and that cooperation better resolves the variety and unique issues facing our community. With the recent snow and adverse weather the supervisors have assisted with an ambulance that was stuck in a snowbank with a cardiac patient onboard. Today, they assisted in removing snow from around our building to provide a safer area for firefighters participating in training and for firefighters in the event of an emergency alarm to access the fire station. We appreciate the cooperative relationship we have with our municipal governing board and thank them for their contributions to our community. |
