Although the rain moved the annual Cherryhill Fire Trunk and Treat indoors, the rain could not dampen the fun for the nearly 200 adults and children who attended. The annual event started a few years ago to move children off Route 553, the main street that has not sidewalks, and place them in the parking lot of the fire station to provide a more safe environment to enjoy the Halloween fun.
The main organizers of trunk and treat or Cherryhill Fire Social Members Becky Zemlock, Deb Cover and Connie Ringler who receive assistance from the Cherryhill Ladies Auxiliary. Cherryhill Fire thanks the organizers for creating a positive family experience for the children and adults in our community.
