Six firefighters from Cherryhill Township Fire Company completed a 16-hour Pump 2 training at the Indiana County Public Safety Academy. In addition to reviewing the key concepts of pump engagement, water movement from tank to pump, pressurized sources and static sources mastered in Pump 1, firefighters gained deeper understanding and the impacts of friction loss and how to establish relay pump operations in the Pump 2 course.

Cherryhill firefighters utilized Engine 241 to demonstrate their skill mastery and in the process gained greater understanding of the capabilities of Engine 241. Members completing the training included Captain Vinny Mutz, Engineer Dan Silvis, Firefighter Sandy Silvis, Firefighter Chris Brady, Firefighter and Julian Shultz, and Engineer Bill Cochran.
