The Cherryhill Township Fire Company recently received notice of grant award from the Communities Foundation for the Alleghenies. The grant award of $2,000 will be utilized to purchase a TL9 Stabilizer Plate and a Large Diameter Intake Relief Valve.

The TL9 stabilizer plate twill be used to secure the spreader from our rescue tool system in order to lift items such as vehicles, debris, or heavy objects from a victim. This will be a much faster and more efficient means of lifting vehicles or debris than the airbag system we now use. The large diameter intake relief valve backs off excess pressure from the intake of water to the pump and provides for the safe and efficient supply of water to our primary attack engine as well as to our firefighters or mutual aid companies we cooperate with on fire calls.
